Who It's For
We’re looking for grocers, corner stores and nonprofits providing fresh food to their local community. You may qualify if your business or organization is:
- Located in San Diego County at an eligible address.*
- Holds a California Business License or 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
- An independently owned grocer, corner store or similar business with fewer than 100 employees and average gross annual sales of less than $15M.
OR
- A nonprofit that provides food assistance or donations to the public.

How do I know if I’m eligible?
Small to medium-sized grocery stores and nonprofits with food donation programs located at an eligible address within San Diego County are eligible.
You can connect with a program representative by submitting an interest form to determine eligibility.
How much does this cost?
All services (equipment, delivery, recycling and one-on-one support) are provided at no cost. You are responsible for ensuring the appropriate electrical infrastructure (for example, the correct electrical outlet and electrical panel) is in place prior to selecting equipment and for unit maintenance after installation.
